AXUM ETHIOPIA: They Fear War Is Coming So They Did This
In this episode, I travel to Axum, Ethiopia, where thousands of people gathered before dawn amid growing fears of war.
At around 4:30 a.m., the streets filled as priests led a large religious procession through the city. Local residents explained that the gathering was a call to God for peace during an uncertain time. It was also said that the Ark of the Covenant was brought out during the procession. In this documentary, I share what I personally witnessed and discuss what I was told by the people present.
This series explores the history, culture, traditions and everyday life of Ethiopia through first-hand experiences and on-location documentaries.
