The RasTafari TV Network (RTV) is a cultural preservation initiative of SITEMEDIA, dedicated to preserving history, faith, culture, education, and heritage through responsible archiving, research, documentation, and public education.
We respect the intellectual property rights of creators, contributors, institutions, and copyright holders and expect our community members to do the same.
Our Commitment
The RasTafari TV Network Community Archive exists to preserve historical and cultural materials for educational, research, documentary, and nonprofit purposes.
Whenever possible, we identify creators, provide attribution, and respect applicable copyright laws while fulfilling our mission of long-term cultural preservation.
Copyright Ownership
Unless otherwise noted:
- Contributors retain ownership of their original works.
- SITEMEDIA and RasTafari TV Network retain copyright in all original platform content, branding, logos, website design, graphics, original productions, metadata, and editorial materials.
- Unauthorized reproduction of original RTV content is prohibited without written permission, except where permitted by law.
Contributor License
By submitting content to Rastafari.TV, contributors grant SITEMEDIA and RasTafari TV Network a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Archive
- Preserve
- Display
- Publish
- Reproduce
- Digitize
- Catalog
- Translate
- Format for accessibility
- Use for nonprofit educational and research purposes
- Promote the Archive and its preservation mission
This license allows us to maintain the integrity and permanence of the Community Archive.
Fair Use
Some materials appearing within the Archive may be used under the principles of Fair Use or similar legal exceptions for purposes including:
- Education
- Scholarship
- Historical research
- Commentary
- Criticism
- Documentary production
- News reporting
- Cultural preservation
Whenever practical, we identify original creators and provide appropriate attribution.
The inclusion of copyrighted material does not imply ownership by RasTafari TV Network or SITEMEDIA.
Public Domain
The Archive may also include:
- Public domain works
- Government publications
- Historic documents
- Expired copyrights
- Materials released under Creative Commons or similar open licenses
Such materials remain subject to the terms of their respective licenses where applicable.

Repeat Infringement
Members who repeatedly violate copyright laws or knowingly submit infringing materials may have content removed, membership suspended, or accounts permanently terminated.
