The Wildest Place We’ve Ever Filmed
Deep in the Republic of Congo lies one of Africa’s wildest and most remote wilderness areas.
Sarah and I spent 10 days on location in Odzala-Kokoua National Park, filming and photographing content for African Parks and documenting a landscape unlike anywhere else we’ve experienced.
In this behind-the-scenes film, we journey deep into the Congo in search of western lowland gorillas, forest elephants, slender-snouted crocodiles and some of the remarkable wildlife that calls this vast rainforest home. From trekking through dense jungle to travelling by boat along remote rivers, this was one of the most unique and genuinely wild shoots we’ve ever undertaken.
Along the way, we experienced unforgettable encounters with western lowland gorillas and forest elephants, searched remote rivers for the elusive slender-snouted crocodile and witnessed some of the most genuinely wild wildlife moments we’ve ever experienced.
