Content Submission Policy

The RasTafari TV Network (RTV) Community Archive is a cultural preservation initiative of SITEMEDIA dedicated to preserving history, faith, culture, knowledge, and creative expression for future generations.
This policy explains the standards for submitting content to the RasTafari TV Network Community Archive.
Our Mission
Every contribution helps preserve authentic history and expand a permanent digital repository livicated to Rastafari, Ethiopian, African, Indigenous, and global cultural heritage.
We welcome thoughtful, accurate, and respectful contributions from our worldwide community.
What You May Submit
Members may submit original or authorized:
- Articles and essays
- Historical research
- Oral histories and interviews
- Photographs
- Artwork and illustrations
- Videos and documentaries
- Podcasts and audio recordings
- Music and playlists
- Books and manuscripts
- Historical documents
- Archival collections
- Cultural traditions
- Educational resources
- Event coverage
- Genealogical and family histories
- Community projects and initiatives
Submission Standards
All submissions should:
- Be truthful and made in good faith.
- Be as accurate as reasonably possible.
- Include sources when appropriate.
- Respect cultural, historical, and religious traditions.
- Contribute to education, preservation, or public understanding.
- Comply with all applicable laws.
We encourage contributors to distinguish clearly between documented facts, personal experiences, interpretations, and opinions.
Ownership and License
You retain ownership of your original work.
By submitting content to RasTafari TV Network, you grant SITEMEDIA and RasTafari TV Network a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Archive
- Preserve
- Store
- Digitize
- Catalog
- Display
- Publish
- Reproduce
- Format for accessibility and preservation
- Translate
- Include in educational and research materials
- Promote the Archive and its preservation mission
This license allows us to maintain the long-term integrity of the Archive and continues even if your membership ends or your account is closed.
Editorial Review
Submissions may be reviewed before or after publication to help ensure:
- Historical accuracy
- Appropriate categorization
- Metadata consistency
- Technical quality
- Compliance with community standards
Editorial review does not constitute endorsement of every statement or opinion expressed by contributors.
Fact-Checking
Whenever practical, the Archive may verify:
- Dates
- Names
- Locations
- Historical events
- Sources
- Image authenticity
- Metadata
Submissions may include editorial notes or corrections when additional evidence becomes available.
Prohibited Content
Do not submit content that:
- Violates copyright or intellectual property rights.
- Contains knowingly false or misleading information.
- Promotes fraud or illegal activity.
- Contains malware or malicious code.
- Invades another person’s privacy.
- Defames or harasses individuals or organizations.
- Includes obscene, abusive, or hateful material.
- Is primarily commercial advertising or spam.
AI-Assisted Content
Artificial intelligence tools may be used to assist with writing, editing, transcription, restoration, translation, or organization.
However, contributors are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted content for accuracy before submission. AI-generated material should not be presented as verified historical fact without appropriate evidence or citations.
Preservation Policy
Because the RasTafari TV Network Community Archive serves as a permanent cultural repository, accepted submissions may be retained indefinitely to preserve the historical record.
Public access to content may be updated, restricted, or modified when necessary, but archival preservation may continue to maintain the integrity of the collection.
Attribution
Whenever possible, contributors will receive attribution for their work through their member profile, author page, or other appropriate acknowledgments.
Removal Requests
Requests to remove or modify submitted content will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
To protect the integrity of the historical record, the Archive is not obligated to remove materials that have become part of its permanent collection, except where required by law or where preservation would conflict with legal or ethical obligations.
Community Responsibility
By submitting content, you confirm that:
- You have the legal right or necessary permission to submit it.
- The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You understand your submission may become part of a permanent cultural archive.
- You agree to abide by the RasTafari TV Network Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines.
