RasTafari TV Network Community Guidelines
Preserving History. Protecting Truth. Building Community.
Welcome to the RasTafari TV Network Community—a global gathering of historians, elders, researchers, creators, artists, educators, organizations, and cultural guardians committed to preserving our shared heritage for future generations.
By participating in this community, you agree to uphold the following principles.
Our Aim:
Use the Platform Purposefully
RasTafari TV Network is an educational, cultural, and intellectual community—not simply another social media platform. Every contribution should advance our shared mission of preserving knowledge, publishing meaningful work, verifying facts, documenting history, networking, promoting worthy initiatives, collaborating, making important announcements, and building purpose-driven groups.
Please keep posts relevant and valuable. Do not upload generic greeting graphics, “Happy Tuesday” images, glitter graphics, unrelated memes, repetitive content, or media that does not serve the purpose of the community. Such material consumes valuable storage space and distracts from the work we are building together.
Until our growing membership enables us to expand onto a larger shared server, members are asked to help protect the capacity of our digital repository. Whenever practical, embed, link to, or integrate relevant content from your social media accounts, website, video channels, podcasts, and other online platforms instead of uploading duplicate media files directly. This approach conserves space while increasing traffic, visibility, and engagement across your additional profiles, pages, projects, and businesses.
Members are encouraged to use the platform to:
- Preserve and publish historical, cultural, educational, and original material.
- Share credible research and sources for collective fact-checking.
- Promote relevant creative work, organizations, events, and community initiatives.
- Network with researchers, educators, elders, artists, creators, businesses, and institutions.
- Create focused groups for study, collaboration, preservation, production, and community development.
- Post meaningful announcements, opportunities, resources, and calls to action.
- Connect audiences to their websites and established online channels through relevant links and embedded media.
Before posting, consider whether the contribution informs, preserves, teaches, documents, connects, promotes purposeful work, or helps the community collaborate. If it does not, please share it on a more appropriate social platform.
Our goal is not to fill a feed. Our goal is to build a trusted, organized, and enduring repository of knowledge while keeping membership subscriptions accessible.
