Ethiopian Christians and Muslims in friendship and brotherhood for eternity
It all started back in the year 615 A.D. when muslim refugees fled to the Kingdom of Axum because the Prophet Mohamed himself adviced them to go to Abyssinia “the land of the rightous King” There they were friendly welcomed by christian King Armah who refused to send them back to Mekka where they faced persecution from the ruling pagan elite. This event came to be known as the First Hijrah.
