Zimbabwe land reforms affecting lives 17 years after

It’s been 17 years since Zimbabwe undertook an exercise to hand white owned land to thousands of new black farmers. The programme was followed by a slump in production as new land owners failed to access funding to match the output of dispossessed former occupants. Nearly two decades later resettled farmers are still grappling with number of challenges
