A Memorial: Ethiopia Red Terror, November 23 1974, 60 senior officials summarily executed
This is a memorial of a little known fact of history, when 60 senior Ethiopian government officials, civil servants, and military officers were summarily executed by the terrible Derg firing squad on November 23, 1974. When H.I.M. Emperor Haile Selassie I was deposed, the communist government who betrayed him, began to kill, imprison and forbid the teachings and knowledge of H.I.M. throughout the entire kingdom.
Many flee for their life and live in exile throughout the Diaspora and live to tell another tale we’ve yet to hear. Others lost precious lives and their story lives on in time to be revealed in some obscure place, waiting for the right time and person to unveil it. Many fear RasTafari and His Teaching. Q’edemawi Haile Selassie, our esteemed Emperor’s teaching and testimony of why he follow Iyesus Christ, produced ripe fruit and hidden manna enough to sustain us eternally. Q’edemawi is an exemplary pattern of a Godlike, Christlike livity lives on forever in the martyrs. We give honor to and remember martyrs and those who gave their lives for liberation and righteousness. We salute you. You are the real revolutionaries!
