Atonement (AT-ONE-MENT) involves not only the forgiveness of our wrong doings; it pictures the removal of the primary cause of  wrong doing and for missing the mark, diablos/satan.  Through the symbolism involved in the Passover—that Messiah/The Christ shed blood atones for our past wrongdoings.

In fact, atonement means reconciliation.

“If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

Atonement carries universal implications.  Atonement pictures an essential additional step in The Almighty’s salvation plan. Atonement must take place before humanity can experience true peace on earth.  All people suffer the tragic consequences of doing wrong. But doing wrong doesn’t happen without a cause, and God makes this cause clear in the symbolism associated with repentance, forgiveness and also the of Day of Atonement. (Yom Kippur)

Until Our Sustainer removes the original instigator of wrong doing, hue-manity will simply continue to fall back into disobedience and suffering. Although our human nature has a part to play in our wrong doing, the devil and it’s agents bears great responsibility for influencing and seducing mankind to disobey The Law of God and Nature.

Even though many people doubt the existence of a devil, the Bible reveals satan as an evil liar, thief and murderer, an invisible entity, through fear tactics and deception, sway all man-kind. Revelation 12:9 tells us that his influence is so great that he “deceives the whole world.”

You’ve Been Given the Power to trample satan, destroy the dragon & trample the beast!

When you don’t OBEY & LISTEN TO IGZIABIER’S/The Lord God of the Universe’s TRUTH, the devil blinds people to the understanding and wisdom.  People who constantly disobey will wander after lies and drink strong delusion because they don’t want to her The Most High’s TRUTH.  Sometimes a messenger may come but we fail to hear the message because we discriminate against the messenger.  The apostle Paul explained this to the Corinthians: “If our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).

Messiah/Yahshua/Iyesus Kristos plainly state that satan introduced wrong doing and rebellion into the world. InJohn 8:44 Christ declared to those who were antagonistic to His teaching: “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”

Tying these scriptures together allows us to see trick of the enemy and influence he has over the rebellious.  We’re warned to beware of the deceitful methods of the enemy:  “But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:3, NIV).

People who are on a constant struggle to resist dark forces is fighting a spiritual battle against dark and ungoldly energies.  Paul explains: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness” (Ephesians 6:12, NASB).

Messiah delivered us from the influence of the devil upon His crucifixion and glorious Resurrection and already reconciled the faithful with Amlak/God (Ephesians 6:13-18).  Our Benevolent Creator is much more powerful than satan and we must do our part and actively resist doing wrong and to live by the spirit and not by flesh (James 4:7).  Atonement looks forward to the time during which satan’s deception will be removed and it will no longer be free to influence and deceive hue-manity (Revelation 20:1-3).

Complete global reconciliation to Our Beloved Creator cannot occur until the source of so much wrong doing and suffering is out of the picture.  We must guard our thoughts and watch what enters our MIND.  Wrong doing begins with a simple thought!   When ungodly thoughts manifest we must NOT act on them. We must continually remove, eradicate, destroy them from our mind or realm immediately.  Do not entertain dark thoughts!  When we prevail and conquer the lower self, we will transcend to the higher self and begin to experience life as eternal peace and abundance!

Our Emperor Haile Selassie I prayed, “Lord, abode of exiles, light of the blind! Truth and justice are Your thrones.  Receive us who have been exiled for our freedom’s sake, who have had to leave our country on account of violent assault.  In praying to You thus, it is not for our righteousness but for Your great mercies.”

 

Messiah is our High Priest and intercessor. Because of His wonderful sacrifice for us, we can “come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).  Atonement thus pictures the loving reconciliation all people can have with Our Blessed Creator through Messiah’s sacrifice.  It also shows the remarkable truth that satan, the author of wrong doings, will soon be removed so that humanity can at last attain reconciliation with Our Creator on a universal basis.

Atonement serves as a vital preparatory step in anticipation of the next milestone in God’s glorious Holy Day plan, beautifully depicted by the Feast of Tabernacles.  May Our Creator add abundant blessings to the readers, do-er’s and to those that walk in the WORD.  Selah!
