NJINGA, QUEEN OF ANGOLA is a big screen production on the history of one of the most important female figures of Africa, in the year UNESCO celebrates the 350th anniversary of her death.
In the 17th century a warrior woman fights for the independence of Angola.
After witnessing the murder of her son and watching her people being humiliated by Portuguese colonizers, Njinga will become a Queen and struggle for their liberation embodying the motto: “those who stay fight to win.”
An exciting journey through the history of Angola, which brings you to the seventeenth century to know the life of a woman fearlessly fight. This is what the new big production of Semba Communication proposes. On November 8, 2013 the movie “Njinga – Queen of Angola” had its premiere in Luanda foyer, a night entitled to special guests.
