Blood & Water: The Negro Speaks of Rivers by Langston Hughes

A video created from the NPR webcomic of a Langston Hughes poem “The Negro Speaks of Rivers.” I interpreted his words into a 4 panel comic strip. My hopes were to travel across times and ages, portraying people interacting with the open vein of the earth. This is set to the instrumental version of Stalactite by my band, Waking Astronomer.
